WASHINGTON -- Andrews Kurth’s Washington, D.C. office welcomes Andy Tucker as a partner in its Corporate Securities practice. Tucker’s broad corporate securities practice includes the representation of issuers and underwriters in capital markets transactions, venture capital/emerging company work, as well as mergers and acquisitions and buy-out fund work. Tucker has been a panelist on numerous discussions regarding securities laws topics, such as the public offering process and compliance with the mandates of Sarbanes-Oxley. In 1987, Tucker graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and is a 1984 honors graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the of the Business Law Council of the Virginia Bar Association, which advises on changes to the corporate and securities laws in Virginia.
