Darrell Grams Joins Andrews Kurth’s Dallas Office

DALLAS -- Andrews Kurth continues to strengthen an already highly recognized litigation practice with the addition of Darrell Grams as a partner in the Dallas office. His experience includes having served as national strategic counsel for several automobile companies involved in mass tort litigation. Charlie Marshall, managing partner of Andrews Kurth’s Dallas office, says, “Darrell’s experience in different aspects of litigation further enhances the firm’s ability to serve our national client base in high-profile litigation. Grams’ most recent experience includes serving as co-trial counsel for the second-largest global chemical company in a silicone breast implant case; successfully defending the world’s largest oil company against damage claims as lead trial counsel in Texas; and successfully representing the world’s leading chemical company in one of the nation’s first Multiple Chemical Sensitivity cases in Miami, Florida. In addition, for the second-largest U.S. producer of cars and trucks, Grams handled legislative reform initiatives at the state and national level.

Grams obtained his LL.M. degree in International Law from Georgetown University, his J.D. from Wayne State University and his A.B. from the University of Michigan. Grams was in private practice from 1983 through 2001 after serving as trial and appellate counsel in the U.S. Navy's JAGC Corps. Grams experience includes serving as a member of the Ford Motor Company's General Counsel's staff and as a partner with the Duane Morris LLP's Detroit, MI office before re-locating to Dallas.
