Jerry Beane and Kay Lynn Brumbaugh Join Andrews Kurth

DALLAS -- Andrews Kurth announces today that Jerry L. Beane and Kay Lynn Brumbaugh join the firm as partners in the Dallas office. With a combined 45 plus years of experience, both attorneys have outstanding reputations in the legal community. “These two renowned Dallas attorneys bring incredible experience and capability to Andrews Kurth and to our office,” says Charlie Marshall, managing partner of the Dallas office.

Beane and Brumbaugh’s experience in antitrust matters is multi-faceted including litigation, counseling, mergers and acquisitions, investigations and inquiries by the Department of Justice Antitrust Division, Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general. Both attorneys also have sophisticated commercial litigation practices which include class actions and other complex matters.

Beane is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and he received his B.A. and J.D. from Baylor University where he served as Editor in Chief of the Baylor Law Review.

Brumbaugh has been featured in the “Best Lawyers in Dallas Under 40” list by D Magazine and was also chosen as a Texas “SuperLawyer.” She received her B.B.A. from the University of Texas and her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Brumbaugh also served as a judicial clerk to the Hon. Sam B. Beane and Brumbaugh join the firm from Strasburger & Price, LLP. Beane served as chair of Strasburger’s business and commercial litigation practice prior to his departure. Brumbaugh was chair of Strasburger’s antitrust practice before arriving at Andrews Kurth.
