Andrews Kurth Adds Leader in Internet and E-Commerce Industry

DALLAS -- Andrews Kurth announces today that Scott Kline joins the firm’s Dallas office as a partner. Kline comes to Andrews Kurth after 15 years of serving as legal counsel and business executive for leading international companies. "Adding Scott to the Internet and e-Commerce practice clearly reflects Andrews Kurth’s future intentions in the technology industry," says Charlie Marshall, managing partner of the Dallas office. Kline has served as legal counsel to the world’s largest airline, the world’s number one retailer, and world's leading maker of wireless telecom infrastructure equipment. In addition to his legal experience, Kline has worked with venture capital firms and technology companies as both a high-level executive and advisor. He has extensive experience in the areas of technology law, Internet and e-commerce, as well as business strategy and advising.

Kline’s arrival at the firm immediately follows the six-person Intellectual Property Team joining the Washington, D.C. office last week. Recently, a Corporate and Litigation Team from Arter & Hadden, consisting of 15 lawyers, joined the Dallas office strengthening the firm's overall corporate, technology and litigation practices.
