NEW YORK - Andrews Kurth congratulates Kenneth I. Chenault, Chairman & CEO of American Express and Jeffrey R. Immelt, Chairman & CEO of GE, on receiving the 21st NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc. (NAACP LDF) National Equal Justice Award. The awards will be presented at the National Justice Award Dinner on November 1, 2007, at the Hilton Hotel and Towers in New York.

Mr. Jones was the personal counsel and principal speechwriter to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Mr. Jones currently is a Scholar-in-Residence at the King Research & Educational Institute at Stanford University, where he is completing his memoirs which are slated for publication by Harper Collins in April 2008.
