Terry practices in the firm’s Los Angeles office, representing and advising clients throughout the State of California. His practice areas include: employment practices counsel liability, commercial/business liability and insurance related matters and litigation.
An veteran of both administrative, trial and appellate litigation in both California and federal courts, Terry counsels businesses and management on how to avoid liability through employment best practices, the development and formulation of employment policies, conducting employee training, the implementation of appropriate personnel actions, the protection of trade secrets and confidential information, advice on employment-related transactions including hiring, terminations and reductions-in-force as well as compliance with state and federal laws.
In the litigation and arbitration arena, he has represented employers and business owners in numerous contexts, including claims for all types of discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour violations, fraud and breach of contract. In addition to traditional business disputes, Terry is experienced in handling litigation related to fraudulent conveyances, unlawful, unfair or fraudulent business practices, sporting/entertainment venue and recreational area liability. Terry also has experience handling class action litigation. In his areas of practice, Terry has worked with private companies and bankruptcy trustees throughout the United States.
