With more than 30 years of experience in the areas of banking and finance, notably in relation to international project financing, sovereign and private sector debt restructuring and asset and other forms of limited recourse financing, Raymond has developed particular experience in a number of specific areas of non-recourse and limited recourse financings. Additionally, he has represented European, Thai, Japanese, Taiwanese and American banks in relation to general corporate finance transactions, as well as finance leasing, hire purchase, project finance and venture capital transactions and offers English law capability in these fields, as well as in the associated areas of corporate acquisition, disposal, and restructuring.

Raymond has spoken on international finance topics in England, the United States, France, Italy, Egypt, and Taiwan. He is a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary College, London University and has edited and contributed to a number of publications including International Finance in the 1990s (1994) and Environmental Liability for Banks (1995).
