Jeff is a member of the firm’s Litigation section, handling complex commercial and oil and gas litigation. He has represented a variety of clients, primarily natural gas producers and pipelines and financial institutions, in disputes pending in both federal and state courts. His litigation experience includes the following:

• Representation of oil and gas producers in the defense of oil and gas royalty class action disputes;
• Representation of oil and gas producers in federal False Claims Act litigation;
• Representation of oil and gas producers in lease disputes, including royalty and implied covenant disputes;
• Representation of both oil and gas unit operators and nonoperating working interest owners in disputes relating to joint operating agreements, including area of mutual interest and accounting litigation;
• Representation of both oil and gas producers and their affiliates with respect to marketing disputes;
• Representation of oil and gas producers in title disputes;
• Service as part-time litigation in-house counsel for large independent oil and gas company;
• Representation of financial institutions in commercial disputes; and
• Representation of other commercial clients in contract and fraud disputes.
