Charles’ practice covers all aspects of civil litigation. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, primarily in the areas of energy, bankruptcy, environmental, and intellectual property. His energy experience includes litigation arising from the bankruptcy of a wholesale power marketing company, as well as complaint proceedings involving interstate natural gas pipeline companies before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Charles’ bankruptcy experience includes representing clients in adversary proceedings. His environmental litigation experience includes private contribution actions, actions by the regulators, and brownfield redevelopment efforts. Charles also has experience in patent and trade secret litigation.
