Summer Program - New York

The New York office of Andrews Kurth offers a 12-week summer program.  Our summer associates can work in as many practice areas as they find of interest, without a formal rotation system. This flexibility creates a diversified experience that simulates what it is like to work at Andrews Kurth, and helps new associates make an informed decision about their practice focus.

Summer work assignments involve direct participation in our office’s current legal matters. Feedback and dialogue with lawyers in the office are continuous.  Reviews of assignments performed are given at the time a project is complete.  Each participant in the New York office’s summer program experiences a full schedule of events for networking and fun, and learns the best part about being an Andrews Kurth lawyer.

Since we provide the opportunity to do real, substantive work, we can make an informed decision on which candidates we invite to join our firm
